Playmysong is an iPod Touch player, which uses your existing iTunes song library to create what we call a Social Music Player.

With the Playmysong iPod hooked to the bar's sound system, everyone can choose songs to be played with their own mobile phones. You just enter the Playmysong mobile site, choose the location you are at, view all the songs available and choose your favorite song to be played. The song is entered into the play quay and gets played when it's your turn. Simple enough, right?

The bar can of course decide what kind of music is played in their premises so no one can ruin a heavy metal bar with Lady Ga Ga (or vice versa). But it makes a huge difference if you can play your favorite heavy metal song instead of just being in the mercy of a random playlist.

And the fun does not stop there. With Playmysong you can keep track on what music is played where at any given moment. Before you leave your home or workplace to have a night out, you can check the places where the good music is playing.

You can collect fan points by playing songs from your favorite artists. You can accumulate street cred by blasting cool music from the coolest bands in your favorite genre. You can see who likes the same music as you. And you can find the best (your favorite genre here) bar in a new town. Not based on a guide book, but by what's happening there right now.
