Drinkify Offers Holiday Cocktails Based on Bands

Please, if you drink during this holiday season, it should goes without saying that you shouldn’t drink and drive, drink and text, text and drive, or do all three at the same time, especially near bicyclists.

But if you are drinking during the holiday season, the kindly tipplers at Drinkify might have just what you need to keep the conversation flowing at your holiday shindig: a magical cocktail recipe book that knows recipes to go with every band — and how to give it a holiday twist.

Originally created in hours at a Music Hack Day, Drinkify became a smash-hit a couple of years back, garnering interest from men’s magazines and alcohol brands alike. Its creators, Matt Ogle and Han Donovan (whose day job is This Is My Jam), have remade it for holiday season 2013.

Enter any band name into holiday.drinkify.org, and the web app will offer up the perfect cocktail to accompany their music over the holidays. As you read the recipe, the site plays you music from that band.
