Video: Guitar and Effects on the Same iPhone

When Audiobus announced its technique for zapping audio from one app to the next, we got all excited, because it makes the iPhone less of a toy, and more of a recording studio.

However, it can be hard to understand what Audiobus is, in reality, although the description of “it’s like an audio cable between iOS apps” does a decent job of explaining it.

In the following video, you can see a virtual acoustic guitar that anyone can play (Guitarism) feed its sound into an effects pedal (JamUp), and then, if they want, to a recording app, although this video doesn’t demonstrate that:

Does anyone still think that iOS (and Android) devices are only for consuming, and not creating stuff? The personal computer might be changing, but it’s not going away.
