Our Collaborative ‘Fourth of July’ Playlist Is Like America

fourth of july collaborative spotify playlist

We really like posting playlists to commemorate stuff. As it turns out, so does everybody else, as a search for “Fourth of July playlist” reveals all too clearly.

The thing is… Can you add to their lists? Can you rearrange them? Can you wield undue influence or even try to ruin them if you’re a jerk? No, you cannot.

Our Fourth of July playlist, built with Spotify, is different. It’s collaborative, sort of like America. That means you can listen to the whole thing for free, save it to your portables if you pay for Spotify, edit it, rearrange it, add to it, subtract from it, share it, invite other people, try to keep them out, or whatever you see fit, below.

In case people mess with it too much, you can always find the original version here.

While we’re on the topic, it’s probably worth pointing out that Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are duking it out on Spotify as part of the longstanding tradition of campaign music, but then again, you already know that.
