Video: Inside Turntable.fm

The following video only had 31 views when we found it, but it appears to show some of the creators of Turntable.fm adding an (unimplemented) feature that rewards users with an insanely high number of DJ points with the ability to place a still image, or possibly video, of their actual face within the service.

This appears to have been a “joke” feature, but don’t laugh too hard — this could be precisely what Facebook is working on.

From the looks of this, Turntable.fm’s creation at Stickybits headquarters in New York City was at least partially the result of some sort of “mad hackathon,” or maybe these people were just participating in a hack day at Turntable.fm/Stickybits headquarters.

There’s not much more to say about this, other than that the above team included multiple women, at least one member was a Belle and Sebastian fan, and that anyone who’s curious about Turntable.fm will probably enjoy it.
